Actor Daniel Lissing will star in GAC Family’s first Christmas movie of 2022.
Lissing is known for his acting work in GAC family original films such as A Christmas Star and When Hope Calls Christmas.
GAC Media has announced that he will star opposite Merritt Patterson in a new Christmas movie, tentatively titled Catering Christmas. Production recently started on Sunday April 3rd.
In “Christmas Catering,” Merritt Patterson stars as Molly Frost, struggling to make it in her new catering business when she crash-lands at New Hampshire’s biggest event of the year, the Harrison Foundation Christmas Gala.
This is where Lissing’s character, Carson Jacob Harrison, comes in. He is a nephew and heir to the family foundation, and on this festivity he directs GALA.
Carson is a famous photographer who has been flying around the world for years to avoid taking Aunt Jean’s money from him. Molly, a hometown girl who was once a beneficiary of the foundation’s generosity, takes him on a journey to learn about all that her family does for so many.
This discovery inspires Carson to use his artistic skills to create the most moving fundraising event in the foundation’s history.
Catering Christmas is executive produced by Brad Krevoy, Eric Jarbaugh, Amanda Phillips, Amy Krell, Vince Balzano, Jimmy Townsend, Susie Belzberg Krevoy and T.W. Peacock.
